Ben Hynes

Ben trained at The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, he is originally from Lytham St Annes and now lives in Manchester where he enjoys the varied theatre, music and food scene!

Ben has a wide-ranging CV consisting of many Theatre in Education and stage performances, including one man shows, ‘A Night in November’ and ‘Cold Comfort’ to critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and on national tours. He has performed as the title role in ‘Father Ted’ for Parker Snell Theatre Company at the Gaiety Theatre, Isle of Man amongst other productions ranging from ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’ and ‘Bouncers’ to ‘Stones in his Pockets’.

More recently Ben enjoyed appearing as ‘Stella Hardup’, the ugly sister, in the Gaiety Theatre’s pantomime ‘Cinderella’ and is a member of Time & Again Theatre Company in their off west end award winning productions of ‘Greyhounds’ and ‘Clouds’. Ben also worked with the company members to perform ‘Greyhounds’ as an audio drama in 2020 and is currently working on future projects planned for Edinburgh 2021 and beyond.

Ben also works as a voice artist and has appeared in many podcasts and audio dramas. He is also a producer of his own audiobooks including the detective series by Lynne Milford for Amazon, and has provided voices for classics such as ‘Oliver Twist’ & ‘Robinson Crusoe’.

Producing credits include short films ‘Jack Rabbit’ (Our Little Sphere) and ‘Admin Worker at the end of the World’ (BROTHER/BROTHER).
