Justin McDonald
Justin is an actor originally from Tyneside in the north east of England. He received a scholarship to attend the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Arts in London, where he gained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Acting. He went on to complete his studies early to play a series lead in the prime-time ITV drama 'Distant Shores'.
Since then, Justin has continued to work consistently as an actor in film, television and theatre. His screen work has seen him playing leading roles in many acclaimed television productions such as 'Holby City', 'The Bill', 'Torchwood', 'Afterlife', 'Casualty', 'Emmerdale', 'Wolfblood' and the crime detective series 'Inspector George Gently'. Justin's first major feature film saw him appearing in the Beatrix Potter biopic 'Miss Potter'. Other feature films include 'And When Did You Last See Your Father?', 'Evie' and 'Winter Ridge' and he starred in the award winning short films 'A Modern Magician' and 'FIST' for which he won a 2023 Royal Television Society Award for best actor in a drama performance.
