Ramon spent the early part of his career working for Granada Television, firstly as David Jason’s stand-in for Micawber and as an actor in various episodes of Frost. His interest in the technical aspects of film and sound became apparent at that point and he switched from being in front of the camera to working as a Technical Assistant on productions such as Heartbeat, The Braithwaites and Emmerdale.

He has spent the last 15 years as a freelance film producer and photographer and in 2005 became a mature, part-time student gaining a first class BA (Hons) in Film and Moving Image Production and an MA in Photography.

More recently he has worked as Camera Operator on the film Macbeth, shown at Everyman Cinemas in 2019, and Lighting and Sound Technician on the film Silent Night, due to be released later in 2020.
