Medal of Honour and Letting Go are two components of a photographic diptych installation exploring a transdisciplinary interaction between photography and the narrative moving image. Two photographs of spiritually evocative locations form the basis for articulating a sacred relationship to a place in the form of two short audio visual moving image narratives that take shape within the photographic composition. The installation project explores new ways of telling stories about a place and our relationship to that place. What can the relationship to a place tell us about ourselves, our aspirations, our challenges, our fears and our hopes?
